English Forward and KEY Foundation become partners in education

Partnership
(Mumbai City, Maharashtra State, India) – English Forward announces the recent signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the KEY Foundation to fast track the growth of the blockchain-based Education Ecosystem in India.
The global impact of COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of building educational tools and systems that are able to withstand various threats, from pandemic disease to extremist violence to geographical displacement and the changing technological classroom.
The pandemic is an opportunity for English Forward to help organizations like the KEY Foundation to build systems with the predictability and reliability students need in this unpredictable world. Together, they are helping educators, learners, and parents to turn the COVID-19 quarantine into an opportunity to grow skills with online learning.
Both English Forward and KEY Foundation recognize that there is sufficient synergy between both companies to warrant a collaboration, one that will benefit both communities and be of value to each other as their advocacies advance in India and the blockchain space.
KEY Foundation’s Managing Trustee, Karnika E. Yashwant explains:

The MOA strengthens our common vision and commitment to serve our distinct yet common communities. The vision is the eventual mass adoption of a superior education ecosystem using blockchain with India as one of the strongholds.Through joining both of our loyal communities, a faster building up of initial momentum is expected.

English Forward (EF) has been advocating the English language as a critical tool. Learning English through the blockchain platform gives critical leverage to tap into new opportunities at home and abroad. The global English language learning market value was around USD 33.5 billion in 2018 and is expected to reach around USD 54.8 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 7.1% in the forecast period.
Mitch Rankin, CEO of English Forward enthuses:

With the recent face to face engagement restrictions by the pandemic, consciousness about the necessity of developing English skills is surging. English Forward is at the cutting edge of supplying this need. I am so excited about the partnership with KEY Foundation. It’s wonderful to work with an organization with such a heart for humanity.

Multiple governments have published reports on the potential implications of blockchain, and the past two (2) years alone have seen more than half a million new publications on and almost four million (3.7M) Google search results for blockchain. English Forward Ltd (EF) had established its foothold in the industry with an organic Q&A community platform and built up its 250,000 plus strong membership.
The English as a Second Language (ESL)  community in India is massive but there’s a lot of divergence and lack of communication among stakeholders. English Forward will soon incorporate a peer to peer marketplace, English language jobs board, tutoring functionality, and a token economy, on the blockchain system.

Benefits from the synergistic partnership

English Forward and KEY Foundation members can expect the benefits from the following English Forward Partners:

The KEY Foundation (KF), an educational foundation, will help disseminate information to the public and media about the goals of English Forward and thus, fast track its ‘Learn English’ through the Ecosystem advocacy. KF will task its local volunteers to take up roles which will include lobbying legislators, providing networking opportunities for KF and EF members, and organizing access to facilities for gatherings as warranted, starting on 19th September 2020.
As a nonprofit, KEY Foundation aspires to build bridges with for-profits. They strive to bring social responsibility to the world of commerce by educating people to be critical thinkers, to accept social responsibility, and to use the ethical way of doing business.
The KEY Foundation has been offering practical soft skills training for graduating students in the Chennai area and nearby regions in the Maharashtra state. Their most comprehensive courses have helped students find immediate employment in business offices and government agencies.

Forward-looking blockchain-based education ecosystem

No doubt, the New Education Policy (NEP) is commendable as it aims at making the education system holistic, flexible, and multidisciplinary. But should the language formula be revised?
The latest move to open up India’s doors to globally acclaimed varsities could very well help India position itself as an emerging world leader in education, much like how America did when it overshadowed its European counterparts in the late 1900s by gaining considerable international prominence.
But there is a greater need for a paradigm shift of higher education that will make it more relevant and sustainable in the changing landscape. Such a change can only be brought about by blockchain.
