Is there a difference in meaning with:
The one I would desire is still not within reach. And
The one I will desire is still not within reach.

Would = future unknownWill = future known or determinate outcome. In this sentence, "will" does not make sense. " Would is a better choice, but even that sounds somewhat awkward because of the use of "still" which has a past connotation and/or a previously known connotation, which negates the future/unknown element of would.

Unless you know that you will, in fact, desire a specific person or thing, but if that were the case you would probably say, "The one I desire is still not within reach." Would is a better choice, but even that sounds somewhat
