Witnesses

Is this sentence correct? Thanks

There are two witnesses who witnesses the train accident.

Hi, It's not correct because you have a plural subject followed by a verb in the third singular person. (By the way, did you really want the simple present, or is it a typo? ) Besides, the repetition of witness is awkward.

Hi,

Besides, the repetition of witness is awkward. How about these?

Two people witnessed the train accident.
