With/without Both?
Hi,
I'm having trouble with the usages of "both" and "either." (of both "both and "either"?)
Do these words work as the emphases for statements?
Like, what is the difference between:
I like reading and writing. and
I like both reading and writing.?
Similarly, what is the difference between:
She's the kind of person you love or hate. and
She's the kind of person you either love or hate. ?
All these sentences make sense? Any essential difference in terms of the usage?
Thank you in advance,
Jim
