Why no articles?
Hi. One of the definitions given for the word "inheritance" by the Collins COBUILD Advanced Learner's English Dictionary is as follows. I tried to make the word "inheritance" in bold letters, but couldn't. The dictionary had the word in bold letters.
If you get something such as job, problem, or attitude from someone who used to have it, you can refer to this as an inheritance.
Why aren't there English articles in front of the words "job" and "problem," when I think they need them?

It should be eg If you get something such as a job, problem, or attitude from someone . . It's not a very good definition, either.
