Why did you come / Why are you coming
Hi there! Imagine the following situation, please:
I am at home and someone is coming to talk to my flat mate, i tell him to come inside. after a few minutes I ask him: "Why are you coming?" / "Why did you come?"
Which one is appropriate in this situation ? I would say that I can use both? Thanks!
Additionally, If i depict a scenario like i did above, do I use the simple present (I tell him to come inside) or could I also use the progressive form (I am telling him to come inside)?
