while you are gone
my question is that , i hear those phrases a lot but I couldnt find anything about them in GRAMMAR BOOKS.
for instance : you re always talking about how much money you'll save food, hot water and gas WHILE I AM GONE.
what does "while I am gone" mean in that sentence ??? i know that it is not a passive one. but then what the ... is that ?
i really couldnt find anything about it.
instead of "while i am gone" , CANT we say "while I go" or "while I am going" ????
whats the difference ??
especially in lyrics , i hear this phrase "while you re gone" a lot.
