which vs that

The light bulb which/that Edison invented was called an incandescent lamp.

Should I use "which" or "that"?

Both fits the place, but I think which is better suited when we refer to objects.

As the relative clause is not set off with commas, it is defining/restrictive. Both which and that are correct and you can even leave out the relative because it is the object of invented. Which is mostly used in British English.
