Which one is correct?
I haven't been able to go to school this week because i was ill.
OR
I haven't been able to go to school because I have been ill.
OR
I haven't been able to go to school because I have been ill.

Anonymous I haven't been able to go to school because I have been ill. This one. The inability to go to school and the illness are temporally coextensive and continue up to the present, so both need the present perfect.
