Which of these two sentences sound better & why?
Hi, lately I've been having a bit of a struggle with certain types of sentences, and I'll exemplify below.
"I have applied for a wide variety of jobs, but mostly accounting and management positions. I guess they're quite similar in terms of what qualities an employer would be looking for in a candidate."
"I have applied for a wide variety of jobs, but mostly accounting and management positions. I guess they're quite similar in terms of what qualities an employer would look for in a candidate."
To me "in terms of what qualities an employer would be looking for in a candidate" and "in terms of what qualities and employer would look for in a candidate" are and sound exactly the same. But again, I am not sure. Are both fine here and can they essentially be used interchangeably?
