Which Is The Correct Form?
When I was in high school, I remember learning the difference between the words "All" and "Any" with "All" always being Plural and "Any" always being Singular. But contrary to what I have been told, it is the opposite it seems. Here's an example.
Are There Any Questions? The word "Any", A Singular comes before "Questions", A Plural.
Why Not Say Instead "All Questions Will Be Answered In The Order It Came". I admit, it's more wordy, but it sounds more proper and correct. Am I missing anything here. Please help.
