Which is correct?

Which sentence is correct:

"I took a keen interest into learning about....."
"I had a keen interest in learning about...."

If both are wrong, could you please correct.

Your first sentence is garbled. The second sentence is not complete. But "I had a keen interest in learning about the solution to Fermat's last theorem.

The second sentence is not complete. But
"I had a keen interest in learning about the solution to Fermat's last theorem. "
is correct.
