Where to place "only" for greatest effect.
Hello,
I'm actually a native speaker, but I was wondering if anyone had ever thought of this "issue".
Would you say there is a difference in meaning between these two sentences? What is the difference?
A) I speak Japanese only.
B) I speak only Japanese.

I see no practical difference — nor with 'I only speak Japanese'.
