When to use 'while'?
In the below sentences (part of speech), would you omit the word 'while' from them?
‘I feel empty, I guess,’ she said, while wrapping her arms around her now slimmer belly.
‘What’s going on?’ she asked. ‘Who’s that man?’ she added, while pointing to the doctor’s large frame.
‘To hell with that,’ I said, while letting out an almighty sigh.
'Where have you been? We’ve all been worried sick,’ she added, while letting her grip of Sarah loosen.
