when to use personification technique

00 Can you tell me when is appropriate to use a personification technique in sentences? Am I allowed to switch to the technique anytime regardless of the type of the writing? I think not. Then, when? Should there be a marker of a sort? 02 br

0 If you are going to have plants or animals actually acting like people, it should either be a story for children, or a fable/parable, or one heck of a good metaphor. 02 br 02 br 00 You don't "switch" to it as a technique, as if it had to be on or off - you employee it as necessary. If you're going to have an entire story about human-like flowers, then you need to keep tham "alive" throughout.
