when is the object optional?
Hi,
How do I gain an insight as to distiinguish properly in a situation when the 'it' is optional in situations like this?
Q: Would you like for us to make the paper airplane for you?
A: 1. No, I want to make on my own.
2. No, I want to make it on my own.
Here, I think both no.1and 2 are acceptable. How do I gain insight as to when the likes of 'it' is optional or not?
