You tell us what co-workers did in the past. If you want to emphasize something before this, you can use the past perfect tense in a proper contect. For example, they had met before at primary school and they were co-workers after years so they talked and shared much......
Since he was single, she had introduced me to him. ----- Well, I can't make much sense out of this sentence. In this way, introducing precedes his being single. I mean first she introduced him to you and then you learned he was single. Not a good contect. Just changed all of the sentences into the simple past tense. Since he was single she introduced him to me.
