What's wrong with me?!

Hey everybody... I have a really strange accent that I really can't understand. I 'hear' myself without my accent but if I record my voice and play it it's pretty obvious. Just so you know I am NOT esl. English is my primary language and the only language I'm fluent at. But I still have my messed up accent. When I was really young I had to take speech therapy because I'm not a very articulate person. I'm talkative but I stutter, mumble, etc... I think that my accent maybe caused by my moving around a lot. I've spent 4 years in Japan, 2 years in New York, 8 in Singapore (I'm a Singaporean 15 year old). I study in an American school and I really dread public talking because of my accent. Any tips on what to do to fix this problem? Thanks.
