Here's the definition of "manna"
"(Old Testament) food that *** gave the Israelites during the exodus"
it doesn't say what kind of food it is; it just could be anything they needed to survive or anything they liked/were used to. So, for Chinese or Japanese, it could have been rice or noodles, for Belgians, beer and fried potatoes, for French, bread and "saucisson"!
