What's most suitable?
Hi everyone,
I've been wondering if any of you could tell me which of the sentences below is most suitable, whether or not they are correct:
If so, may you explain the differences between each of them?
"-I can't work when there's the slightest noise around."
"-I can't work when there's any noise around"
Is "any" in this context compulsery or could it be removed?

Both are acceptable. There's not much difference. I would consider the first to be slightly more emphatic.
