What means "worn out with care" ?

Hello,I 've found this sentence in a translation. And understand all the words but I cannot understand its meaning :"In prison I'm worn out with care"worn out is, I suppose, "worn-out", which means "exhausted". "with care" is closed to "with attention", like in the expression "with the greatest care"...So for me (and my poor English), it sounds like "In Prison I am exhausted with care" ?! I think it's not the real meaning (because it sounds like a non-sense), but then what is the meaning of "with care" in this context ? Can someone help ?Thanks !

Thank you very much for your help, Peter. "care" seems to have the meaning of "grief" (a sense of injustice) in the whole context. I make sense now. I didn't know this meaning of the word, and my dictionary was not as clear as yours...
