I often found the slang word of: "ripped", anywhere anytime. But i don't really know what it is mean.
for example:

*she ripped it! (a girl after her great performance of singing contest)
*God i hate Paypal, they ripped me off!?
*They ripped me off. Did not let me cancel

*Susan Boyle Ripped by Idol Elaine Paige: "She's like a youtube virus!"

The word has different meanings.

*she ripped it! = She succeeded fantastically!

**** i hate Paypal, they ripped me off! = They cheated me.
*They ripped me off. Did not let me cancel. = They cheated me.

*Susan Boyle Ripped by Idol = Susan Boyle denigrated by Idol

To rip someone off is to cheat someone.

"He was ripped!" can mean angry or drunk.

Many such words are used to indicate a markedly successful attempt at something. (He ____ 'd it!)
