What is the meaning of conjunction 'qua'?
I have been trying to understand what the word "Qua" means. I have referred a few dictionaries but I am still unable to understand it fully.

Examples:
1) Qua musician, he lacks skill, but his playing is lively and enthusiastic. (Does it mean "As a musician"?)

reptax I have been trying to understand what the word "Qua" means. It is just a snooty form of "as". I don't remember ever having seen it, but it does seem to be out there.
