Plz clarify me what is perfect infinitive and passive perfect infinitve give illustrations in this regard.

  • perfect infinitive (active): (to) have done
  • perfect infinitive (passive): (to) have been done
Active

You look exhausted. You must have worked hard this week.

Passive

That book was translated into more than twenty languages. It must have been read
