What does "pay rates" mean and do I use these phrases correctly?
Hello! I have to make presentation and I'm not sure if all words and phrases would sound authentic enough. I have a friend in the US but she doesn't check her mail very often while I need some fast response. I'd like to ask you the following:
1. What does pay rates mean? Can it be used in The pay rates for this kind of job are low in my country, meaning that if you do this job they pay you little money in my country.
2. Does it sound good if you want me to work for you?
3. Can I say photo of me, when I talk about a photo on which I am photographed? Or there is a better phrase?
4. Can I say I work as (some job title here). Previously I've worked as (some other job title here) for (some time)., meaning that beffore I started to do my current job I did that other job.

They all sound perfectly correct to me as a native speaker. No. 3 might be better as my photo or photo of myself depending on the context and construction.
