what does "generalizes this one-off feature" mean?
I don't understand what "generalizes this one-off feature" means in the following context. Could you explain what 'one-off' and 'generalize' specifically indicate? As far as I know, one-off means one time thing and generalize means apply something more widely.
Under normal conditions, these two menus are different (they default to “Main menu” and “User menu,” respectively). However, if you set both the Main and Secondary menus to the same value, this creates a sort of drill-down effect in which the top-level items are displayed in the “Main menu” region, and any subitems of the currently active “Main menu” link are displayed dynamically in the secondary region. As far as I can tell, "generalize" is used in its basic meaning. Remember, the Menu block module is capable of creating new (sub)menus and these new (sub)menus will have the same properties (and behavior) as the Main and Secondary menus (but will be lower in the menu hierarchy). "generalizes" refers to the ability of the Menu block module to instantiate as many new (sub)menus as necessary (lower in the menu hierarchy), all having the same properties and behavior as the Main and Secondary menus.
