Which of the following sentences is correct?
1: We haven't talked in an eternity.
2: We haven't talked for an eternity.

The second makes sense in the postive, the first does not.
We talked for an eternity. (means we had a very long conversation)!:

More common, I think, is 'We haven't talked for/in ages.'
