Hello, can someone please help me understand "investing" below. It is a verb + ing. Does it become a noun in this case? In my mind, the structure is "come to something" and the something is a noun. Also, what is the difference between "come to investing" and "come to investment" in this sentence? Which one sounds better and why? Thanks a lot.

"I understand that you have many options when it comes to investing. Thank you for choosing to invest with xxx (company name)."

For example, you might decide that a new solar panel company is bound to be wildly successful in the future, and also a concrete company. So you investing them by buying shares on the stock market. Your hope is that they will grow and your shares will be more valuable in the future.

When it comes to investing, most advisors recommend setting aside 10% of your salary for the future.

When it comes to investments, financial advisors recommend shares in good companies, mutual funds, or bonds.
