Use of "Since, .. and since" in a sentence
Here are two sentences. Please focus on the second one!
I wrote the first one, to get you into the context!
"Finally, the new image is copied over the old image, for the pixels with no dependencies.
Since we have not completely constructed the new image, because of halo dependencies, and since calculations on new image depend on the old one, the old's image dependent pixels are those who reside in the three-pixel wide halo."
I am not sure about the usage of "Since, .... , and since, .."
Does it make sense?
Also when I say "depend on the old one", it is clear that the word one refers to an image too?

There is an ambiguity in the first sentence. Do you mean the pixels in the old image, or those in the new image? "Finally, the new image is copied over the old image, for the pixels with no dependencies.
