Usage of "would have + pp"

I don't understand why the respondent would use "would have + pp" here, and what does the sentence (with underline) mean? Is that question mark be wrong typed?

Question: How would you feel if you found yourself didn't zip up your school bag and many people saw it?

Answer: My school bag is like one you wear on your side, so i wouldn't care because i would have left it open? so yeah.

The question isn't grammatical, but presumably it means:

"How would you feel if you found you hadn't zipped up your school bag and many people saw it?"

What a strange thing to ask! Why would anyone care at all about people seeing such a trivial thing?

I suppose "I wouldn't care because I would have left it open" means "I wouldn't care because it would only be ope
