Usage of it
It is worth reading this book.
= This book is worth reading.
I know that the two sentences carry the same meaning and "it" here is a fake subject.
I have seen this one "It is worth reading" and I think that here in the sentence, "it" is a pronoun of "this book" or is "it" a fake subject, too ?
What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance.

"It" is a dummy, not a reference to the book.
