"We had a seminar on project management from someone who directly learnt from Covey. It was very good. The most important point I learnt from it is to read a book each week."
Is it correct to use "is" in the last sentence - it is to read?

Hello, Nkm, You can use both. With "is" you insist on the present impact of the seminar; with "was" you state that you learnt that important point then. Yet, I'd rather say "it was very interesting" instead of "good".
