Hi, I would like to know how to say decimal UK currency e.g. £5.55? Can I say "five pounds fifty five"?

AnonymousCan I say "five pounds fifty five"?Fine! Spelled fifty-five, though. If you want to be complete and perfect, you can add pence, but that is understood without it being said. Quite a few people use the singular pound, but I have never liked that!
