A female mountain god, named Pere, was attracted by him and asked for his love.00 00But Ohia refused Pere and said he’d already have a lover.00 00Pere was desperate. As revenge, She changed Ohia to a wood. Lehua, Ohia’s beautiful lover, has been crying everyday under the tree as she lose her most beloved person.00 00Other gods can’t keep seeing that sorrow scene but as Pere’s power is the strongest, they cannot change Ohia back to human. At last they changed Lehua to be a flower of the tree so that the lovers can be stay together forever.00 00It’s said that there are many girls in Hawaiian Island with name of Lehua, but there is no one named Ohia. 02br
