Transitive verb
From what I learned, the subject and verb are all you need to make a sentence. Does this apply to transitive verbs as well? Or must you have an object in that case?

A sentence requires a complete thought. A transitive verb requires an object to complete the thought. It's not a complete sentence if you have a transitive verb without the object.
