Traitor eyes
I'm reading a book called "Rebel of the Sands" and stumbled upon the expression "traitor eyes". What does it mean to have "traitor eyes"? Does it mean that your eyes betray yourself (your intentions)? Or that your eyes can fool other people? Some examples of how it appears in the book:
“Here’s a tip for you. Don’t try to hit a man in the face when he’s looking
straight into your eyes. You’ve got traitor eyes, Bandit.”
I might have traitor eyes, but Jin had the sort of smile that would turn over whole empires to the enemy.
