Too
Do we only say 'too' as a reply back to what someone has said to us?
Example:
Elena: Thank you for protecting me.
Edward: Thank you, too, for taking care of me.
Or can we also say it as something in addition to what we've said earlier?
Example:
Elena talking to Edward and Jacob.
Elena: Thank you, Edward.
Elena: Thank you, too, Jacob.
Is the comma (,) required before the word 'too' like 'I love you, too'?
