To-Infinitive vs Present Participle

Could you tell me whether both of the following sentences are acceptable?
Thank you.

This morning, I read in a daily news paper the article to describ the terrible car accident.
This morning, I read in a daily news paper the article describing the terrible car accident.

Neither, probably. Is this what you mean?

This morning, I read in a daily newspaper the article describing a terrible car accident. (The to-infinitival doesn’t work.)

Or more simply:

This morning I read about a terrible car accident in the paper.
