Time-integrated

Hi.
What does 'time-integrated' mean?
The index is based on the time-integrated global mean radiative forcing of a pulse emission of 1 kg of some com-
pound relative to that of 1 kg of the reference gas CO2 [101].

Thanks in advance

It is probably referring to the mathematical technique of integration (a technique of calculus), presumably some kind of integration with respect to the time variable.

Basically, integration over time, i.e., a special kind of mathematical summation based on time.
