"till" and "until" are the same. Perhaps "until" is considered more elegant. But never write 'til -- as do so many native speakers.

Till is an accepted variant of until, and may be used interchangeably with it except at the beginning of a sentence.
I'd add that it's more common in spoken English.
It can sometimes sound rather poetic. eg in this famous poem by Robbie Burns.
