Thesis please help
i have to write an annotated biblography for my western civ class but im having trouble writing my thesis, i was wondering if maybe you guys could give me a little feedback thanks.
this was my original thesis:
The Patricians were unjustly favored in Hammurabi's code
my professors comments were: "true, but diffrent times have diffrent standards of justice and equality. If this were an ethics class we might indulge in a discussion of this nature, but it is not. This is a history class, your statement must reflect a historical perspective"
kind of bonehead move on my part, i wasnt really thinking, and im hoping my revised thesis has a historical point to it, let me know....
this is my revised thesis:
Hammurabi’s code shaped Mesopotamian law and dramatically fashioned the written laws of civilizations to come.

It may have had a dramatic effect upon future legal systems but surely it didn't actually fashion (create) all written laws of civilizations to come.

thanks but i was just looking for some kinda guidence, cuz shes a tough grader and i wasnt sure if my thesis was "historical"
