The verb 'feel'

Dear Teachers

Can we say 'I am feeling hungry'? I guess, the verb 'feel' cannot get the suffix -ing, am I right?

There you can find details of the use of some of non-progressive verbs.

There you can find these examples:

I'm feeling fine (OR I feel fine)

I feel we shouldn't do it. (NOT I'm feeling we shouldn't do it. feel here = have an opinion)

But it is often said that the verb 'feel' does not get the suffic -ing that's why decided to ask.

Oc cource you can. There is no rule against this use. In fact, we use it more than we realize.
