The risk of getting breast cancer
Hello,
Could anyone please check the following sentences? Does any one of these sound natural? If not, how can I rephrase them?
1) The risk of getting breast cancer is three times as high among daughters who have mothers diagnosed with the disease compared to those who don’t.
2) The risk of getting breast cancer is three times as high if your mother has been diagnosed with the disease compared to those who have mothers without a history of breast cancer.
3) Daughters whose mothers have (or whose mother has???) been diagnosed with breast cancer have a risk of developing the disease three times higher than those who have mothers without a history of the disease.
Any help would be appreciated.

They are all understandable, though awkward. I suggest Women whose mothers have been diagnosed with breast cancer have a risk of developing the disease three times higher than women whose mothers have no history of the disease.
