"The pair of scissors is" vs. "The scissors are"
The pair of scissors IS in the drawer.
The scissors ARE in the drawer.
The pair of underwear IS in the drawer.
The underwear ARE in the drawer.
The pair of tweezers IS in the cabinet.
The tweezers ARE in the cabinet.
My pair of pants IS in the drawer.
My pants ARE in the drawer.
Are the verb forms correct in each?
