I will be happy if you can tell me what does "out of kindness" mean in the following sentence.

She opened the box out of her curiosity. My guess is that she opened the box because she was curious.

I will be happy if you can tell me what does "out of kindness" mean in the following sentence.

She opened the box out of her curiosity. My guess is that she opened the box because she was curious. Yes, the action of opening it came from the curiousity that was part of her nature.

In the same way, you might say 'Tom gave the beggar $10 out of kindness', ie the gift was the result of the kindness in Tom's nature.
