The list of the students vs. the list of students
Hello, I hava a quiestion regarding the use of "the".
1) This is the list of the students who participated in the survey.
2) This is the list of students who participated in the survey.
Which one is right, or more appropriate? I think (1) sounds better but it seems that (2) is also used frequently. Can anybody help??
