The faster you run the more you burn

Hello.
I do not know what this structure (The faster you run the more you burn) is called.
It seems that the abbove sentence is grammaratically correct. But what about (The latest you sleep the weaker you wake up), Is this correct?

The structure is an idiomatic construction. I don't know it by any particular name.

Your first example is grammatically correct.
In the second, "later" should be used. In these constructions you don't use superlative forms but comparatives: -er, more + adjective or adverb.

"The sooner this is done, the better."
"The harder you try, the better results you will get."
"The more you insist on it, the less interested I become."

I don't know, really.

I personally wouldn't label the construction. I'd be afraid someone might quote me in a classroom and get themselves into trouble.
