I'm not sure if I should keep "in" in this sentence:
"I speak English more fluently than last semester."
Or maybe without "in", the sentence is incorrect?
Should I insert it, or not?

Don't use "in."
I think it would read more naturally as "I speak English more fluently now than I did last semester."
