take a chance,make a chance,have a chance

Hi..everyone.
what does the three words mean in my subject?
I have a sentence as below,
any English wrong in this sentence?

"If you do,You could make a chance."
or
"If you do,You could have a chance."

"make a chance" doesn't work at all. Don't use that one. "take a chance" means to risk something.
