Superlatives (Later , Faster and Surer)

Could someone take a look at these 3 sentences please? 1 If I have to wait for the subway, I'll be ever later than if I walk and it's just as fast to walk. 2 I can't walk faster than I already am. I'll get there when I get there. 3 I'm surer about the fact that my dad will pay me back the money he owes me than the fact that my mom will pay me back as he's always been a stand up guy. Can you use the superlatives like that and is there anything wrong with the rest of each sentence? Thanks
